The collection of biometric data (iris scan, finger prints) has been left in hands of private agencies. The scheme has been launched without any backing of law and therefore there is no guarantee that data will not be used for any other purpose. Thus, it may violate right to privacy of people if data collected is used for tracing and tracking of people
