Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have topped the ICC Test rankings. Off-spinner Ashwin is in the number one position. Left-arm spinner Jadeja has bagged the second position in the ranking. This is the second time the two Indian bowlers have occupied the top two spots in the rankings. Earlier in 1974, the left-arm spinner Bishan Singh Bedi and leg-spinner Bhagwath Chandrasekhar were ranked one and two in the chart.
The Indian team has emerged as the No.1 ranked Test side after winning the five-Test series against England. India is now 15 points ahead of second placed Australia.
