Ziauddin Barani (1285–1358 CE) was a Muslim political thinker of the Delhi Sultanate in present-day northern India under the rule of Muhammad bin Tughlaq and Feroze Shah. He is best known for composing the Tariq-i-Feroze Shahi (also known as Tariq-i-Feroze Shahi) of medieval India from the reign of Ghiyas ud-Din Tughlaq to the first six years of his reign.
