Notes: Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq served as the governor of Multan, and then that of Dipalpur (both in presentday Pakistan) during the reign of Alauddin Khilji. Earlier, he served as the imperial guard of Jalaluddin Khalji. Ghiya-suddin founded Tughluq dynasty after the fall of Khilji dynasty in 1325 AD.
