Notes: Both epic Kavyas, Ramayan and Mahabharata has a mention of ancient kingdom, Videha. Athough it was first mentioned in Yajurveda. Videha kingdom comprised the present Northern Bihar and Eastern terai region of Nepal. It was established by Nimi Videh, son of Iskvashu.
