Notes: Recently, Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya announced that Rajasthan will host the fifth edition of the Khelo India University Games (KIUG) in November 2025. The event will be jointly organised by Poornima University and Rajasthan University in Jaipur. It is a major initiative under the Khelo India programme, launched in 2020 to promote sports at the university level. The previous KIUG 2024 was held across seven northeastern states and saw 4,500 athletes compete, with 770 medals awarded.
