The venue is Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, with over 1,000 athletes from 100+ nations. This marks India’s debut as host and one of the largest para-sport events in the country. The Championships are the biggest para-athletics competition after the Paralympic Games. Events include sprints, relays, long-distance races, jumps, throws, and other track and field disciplines. India’s medal tally has improved from 2 silvers at Doha 2015 to 17 medals at Kobe 2024.
