Notes: International Women’s Day is observed annually across the world on March 8. This year, the theme of the Women’s day is ‘I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights’. The theme is on the lines with UN Women’s new multi-generational campaign, ‘Generation Equality’. It marks the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, which was adopted at the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing. The campaign theme of the day is ‘Each For Equal’.
