Answer: Operation Shiva
Notes: Recently, the Indian Army launched Operation Shiva 2025 to ensure the safe and smooth conduct of the Amarnath Yatra. It is being executed in coordination with civil administration and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The operation strengthens security on both Northern and Southern Yatra routes, especially after the Pakistan-backed threats post Operation Sindoor. A Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) grid with 50+ C-UAS and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems is in place to counter drone threats.
