Notes: Recently, the Ministry of Women and Child Development approved 14,599 Anganwadi-cum-Crèches (AWCCs) under the Palna Scheme. It aims to provide daycare (crèche) facilities and protection to children aged 6 months to 6 years, especially for working mothers. It offers full-day childcare support through Anganwadi Centres.
