Notes: Jahāngīr Qulī Beg, also called Baz Bahadur, was appointed Bihar governor (1605-07) by Jahangir. A Persianate Turk, he earlier served Mirza Muhammad Hakim and Prince Salim. He was rewarded with rapid promotion and also served briefly as governor of Bengal (1607-08).
