Answer: Alfred Hitchcock
Notes: Alfred Hitchcock is known as the "Master of Suspense". His distinctive style, known as "Hitchcockian", used camera angles to make the viewer feel like an uneasy voyeur. This style maximized anxiety and fear. Hitchcock was born in the United Kingdom and died in Los Angeles, California in 1980. He moved to Hollywood in 1939 and became one of the leading film directors in the United States. Hitchcock's first released film was Always Tell Your Wife in 1923. He co-directed the film with Seymour Hicks, but did not receive credit. His first solo credit was for the melodrama The Pleasure Garden in 1925.  Hitchcock's films include: The Birds, Psycho, Vertigo.  Hitchcock was also an editor, producer, screenwriter, and actor.
