Bight of Benin, otherwise known as Bay of Benin, is a part of the Gulf of Guinea in the northwestern Atlantic Ocean along the western African coast. The basin countries of this bight are Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria. It forms the outlet of Niger River. Cotonou, the largest city and economic centre of Benin is located along this bight.
