Lake Geneva is a glacial deep lake on the north side of the Alps, shared between Switzerland and France. It is one of the largest lakes in Western Europe and the largest in the course of the Rhone river. This lake is a Ramsar Wetland. This Lake is the largest body of water in Switzerland. The Chablais Alps border is its southern shore, the western Bernese Alps lies over its eastern side.
