Notes: Bihar has become the first state in India to introduce an Android-based e-voting system, starting with municipal and urban body elections on 28th June 2025. The e-voting initiative will be implemented through two mobile apps—“e-Voting SECBHR” developed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and another by the Bihar State Election Commission (SEC). So far, 10,000 voters have registered, and 50,000 will be able to vote without visiting polling booths.
