Under the 'Give Up Abhiyan' campaign in Rajasthan, over 13 lakh eligible beneficiaries voluntarily removed their names from the food security scheme. This reduced the government's financial burden by Rs 246 crore. The Rajasthan government launched the campaign in November 2024. It aimed to motivate capable and ineligible people to voluntarily give up food security scheme benefits. The campaign targeted those who have risen above the poverty line. So far, 13 lakh 58 thousand 498 people have given up their benefits.
