The Youth Stipend Scheme was launched by the Madhya Pradesh (MP) government in 2025 as a major welfare initiative. It focuses on financial aid, industrial internships, and skill development for unemployed youth. MP has over 1.5 crore youth aged 20–30, prompting action to tackle unemployment and skill mismatch. The scheme replaces the earlier Yuva Swabhiman Rojgar Yojana, which gave ₹4,000 but was discontinued. Monthly stipend is ₹6,000 for women and ₹5,000 for men. It supports internships and job training in industries registered under the scheme.
