Congo River was the second-longest river in Africa and the second-largest river in the world by discharge volume. it is also the world's deepest recorded river. Both Democratic Republic of Congo and Republic of Congo got its name from this river. Lualaba River of Boyoma Falls is its main tributary. It drains its water to the Atlantic Ocean.
