Q. In which year, Jahangir annexed Kangra?
Answer: 1620
Notes: Jahangir was the first  muslim ruler to have annexed Kangra in 1620 A.D. Before Jahangir, all the Muslim rulers including Firoz Shah Tughlaq in the 14th century and Akbar in the 16th century, failed to conquer it. Jahangir was also able to conquer it after along-drawn siege. He visited the fort in 1622 with Noor Jahan and ordered a palace to be built for him, which was left incomplete.
