The Bum La Pass, located near Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, connects it to Lhasa in Tibet, China. It is located at the Indo-China border above 15,200 ft above sea level.The road to Bum La is a historical route, the People’s Liberation Army of China used it to invade India during the 1962 Sino- Indian War.
