Muhammad Shah was indeed the third monarch of the Sayyid dynasty, ruling the Delhi Sultanate. He succeeded the throne after his uncle, Mubarak Shah's death. Sayyid dynasty, though short-lived, marked the beginning of the Lodi Dynasty. It was one of the five dynasties that ruled the Delhi Sultanate between 1414 and 1451.
