Notes: Tuluva Krishnadevaraya (1509-1529) was a great warrior, scholar and administrator of the Tuluva dynasty (1509-1570). Krishnadevaraya was a great patron of scholars. He had himself written a Telugu work named Amuktamalyada. He had eight great Telugu poets called ashtadiggajas in his court, and among them was Allasani Peddana.
