Notes: Kerala has become the first state to fix the floor price for vegetables, which would be 20 per cent above the production cost.
As per the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the scheme would come into effect from November 1 this year. The floor price fixed for 16 varieties of vegetables produced in the state, would be 20 per cent above the production cost of the vegetables.
