Notes: Samudragupta was called "Lichchavi Dauhitra" . It has been mentioned in Allahabad inscription. Lichchavi Dauhitra means "son of daughter of Lichchavi". Chandragupta I was the father of Samudragupta. Chandragupta I married the Lichchavi's princess Kumara Devi.
