This monument is 24-meter-tall and is constructed in the 4th century CE by the Kingdom of Aksum, an ancient Ethiopian civilization. It was widely used as "markers" to denote the underground burial chambers. This stele was of King Ezana of Aksum. Italy looted this monument during their rule in Ethiopia and returned it back in 2005.
