Notes: After the death of Mughal ruler Aurangazeb, independent state in Bengal was emerged. Murshid Quli Khan was the founder of the state. He transferred the capital from Dhaka to Maksudabad (Murshidabad). In the year 1717, he was appointed as the Subadar of Bengal and Murshidabad became the capital of Bengal.
