Answer: Hepatitis can’t wait
Notes: The World Hepatitis Day (WHD) takes places every year on 28 July to raise awareness of the global burden of Hepatitis. ‘Hepatitis can’t wait’ is the new theme of World Hepatitis Day 2022. One person dies every 30 seconds from a hepatitis related illness. 28 July was chosen because it is the birthday of Nobel-prize winning scientist Dr Baruch Blumberg, who discovered hepatitis B virus (HBV) and developed a diagnostic test and vaccine for the virus.
