Notes: World Hepatitis Day is commemorated each year on 28 July across the world, by the World Helath Organisation. It is observed to enhance awareness of viral hepatitis, an inflammation of the liver that causes several health problems. This year, the theme of the ‘World Hepatitis Day’ 2020 is “Hepatitis-free future”. Among the five main streams, Hepatitis B and C are the most common cause of deaths.
