Notes: Recently, the Indian Navy signed a contract with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bengaluru for the National Maritime Domain Awareness (NMDA) Project. The National Maritime Domain Awareness (NMDA) Project aims to strengthen India’s maritime and coastal security. It ensures integrated data collection, analysis, and sharing among maritime stakeholders. The project will upgrade the National Command, Control, Communication, and Intelligence (NC3I) Network to the NMDA Network. The Indian Navy will administer the project on a turnkey basis. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) will act as the lead integrator, providing advanced hardware and AI-based software solutions.
