Answer: Operation Naya Savera
Notes: Recently, on World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, Bihar Police Headquarters (PHQ) launched ‘Operation Naya Savera’. It is a 15-day campaign (July 31–August 14) focused on rescue and rehabilitation of victims of human trafficking, child labour, flesh trade, and orchestra exploitation. It is led by the Weaker Sections Division of Bihar Police. From January to May 2025, Bihar recorded 231 trafficking cases, rescued 118 minor girls and 506 boys, and arrested 144 traffickers.
