Notes: Utpalendu Chakrabarty was born in 1948 in Kolkata. He made a number of fine documentries along with feature films. Some of his famous feature films are Chokh, Maina Tadanta, Debshishu, Phaansi etc, and documentary films are the Music of Satyajit Ray, Debabrata Biswas, Sunilo Sagore, etc. He got Berlin International Film Festival Award in 1983 for Chokh.
