Notes: Launched in 2018 by the World Economic Forum, UN Environment Program, and World Resources Initiative, the Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy (PACE) is a public-private collaboration aimed at facilitating the transition to a circular economy. Its strategy is built on three pillars: leadership, learning, and projects, which work together to implement and scale circular approaches. PACE is hosted by the World Resources Institute (WRI) in The Hague, which promotes sustainable human society. The strategy is co-chaired by leaders from Royal Philips, the Global Environment Facility, and UN Environment.
