Notes: Madhopur Headworks is situated on the Ravi River in Pathankot, Punjab. Built in 1875–1879, it feeds the Upper Bari Doab Canal system, supporting irrigation and water supply in Punjab. It played a vital role during the British Raj and after the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan in 1960.
