In 1582 AD, the Mughal Emperor Akbar started the new religion Din-i ilahi (the divine monotheism) or Tauhid-i Ilahi. This new religious doctrine had the combination of mysticism, philosophy and nature worship and also have no recognization for prophets. Piety, prudence, abstinence and kindness were the core virtues of this religion. The prominent members of this new religion were Faizi, Birbal and Abul Fazl.
