Qutub Minar was initiated by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1198 and completed by Iltutmish in 1215, using red sandstone. It celebrates Muslim dominance in Delhi and is the tallest tower in India, with five storeys and balconies. The complex also features the 4th-century Iron Pillar of Delhi, notable for its rust resistance.
