Notes: The first treaty of Allahabad took place on 12th August, 1765. The treaty was done between Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II, Najm-ud-Daulah, the Nawab of Bengal and Lord Clive. Under this treaty, the king of Britain gave the Diwani of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa to East India Company under a decree for 26 lakh rupees.
