The government intends to establish the autonomous institution "Vasantrao Naik Research and Training Centre (Vanarti)" to aid social, economic, and educational development of Gor Banjara tribe. This establishment in Mumbai would conduct research and studies on this tribe, implement numerous programs for students, youth and other candidates of these communities, and pay careful attention to their developmental needs. It would also cater to some Demukt Castes and Nomadic Tribes-B, Nomadic Tribes-C and Nomadic Tribes-D as well.
