She was instrumental in establishing country’s first tissue culture laboratory at Indian Cancer Research Center. She also played a key role in founding the Indian Women Scientists’ Association. Recently, Google has dedicated a doodle to Dr. Kamal Ranadive remembering her 104th birth anniversary.
