Notes: Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA) is set to commission first two MW floating solar power plant in Darbhanga. About 40,04 photovoltaic (PV) panels, each having capacity to generate 500-watt electricity, will be installed in a pond in Kadirabad locality of Darbhanga. It is being installed by Delhi based firm AVAADA. Work for the floating solar power plant started in October 2021 and is now ready for commissioning. Solar power plant will be directly connected to utility power grid, to supply power to consumers. The plant has been built in line with state government’s promotion of clean energy.
