Notes: Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri inaugurated Asia’s largest Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) plant in Lehragaga, Sangrur, Punjab. The CBG Plant at Sangrur was inaugurated with an FDI investment of Rs. 220 crores by Verbio AG, one of the top bioenergy companies in Germany. It is spread out across around 20 acres and currently produces about 6 Tons Per Day (TPD) of CBG.
