Notes: Raja Sen was born on 10th November, 1955 in Kolkata. In 1993, his documentary, ‘Suchitra Mitra’ received the National Award for best film in the Arts/Culture section. In 1996, his debut feature film ‘Damu’ was awarded with Best Children’s Film, and his next film ‘Atmiya Swajan’ received the award for Best Family Film in 1999. Some of his well known films are Desh, Debipaksha, Krishnakanter Will, Laboratory, Maya Mridanga, etc.
