Notes: The Battle of Anandpur (1699) was led by Guru Gobind Singh against Hill chiefs Alim Chand and Balia Chand, soon after founding the Khalsa. Guru Gobind Singh's leadership turned the tide in favor of the Sikhs, leading to Balia Chand's death and Alim Chand's injury. Hill chiefs then sought Mughal help.
