Notes: Tamil Nadu has become the first state in India to integrate a TB death prediction model into its TB management system. The predictive model, launched last week, is developed by Indian Council of Medical Research - National Institute of Epidemiology (ICMR-NIE). The model is now part of the TB SeWA (Severe TB Web Application) used under the Tamil Nadu - Kasanoi Erappila Thittam (TN-KET) scheme.
