Notes: From 1946 to 1947, Sarat Bose lead the Congress delegation to the Central Legislative Assembly. He strongly supported the formation of the Indian National Army (INA) by Subhash Chandra Bose, and actively participated in the Quit India Movement. After India’s independence, he led the Forward Bloc Party and later formed Socialist Republican Party. Bose died in 1950.
