Notes: After Shaikh Nizamuddin's death in 1325 CE, his successor was Nasiruddin Mahmud (Chiragh-i-Delhi), a key Sufi saint of the Chishti Order. A disciple of Nizamuddin, he was respected by Delhi Sultanate rulers, including Muhammad bin Tughlaq. His shrine in Delhi is a pilgrimage site.
