Q. Which of the following rulers assumed the title of Hazrat-e-ala ?
Answer: Farid Khan
Notes: Farid Khan later known as Sher Shah Suri started his service under Bahar Khan Nuhani, the Mughal governor of Bihar. Because of his fearlessness, Bahar Khan gave him the title of Sher Khan. After the demise of Bahar Khan, his son Jalal khan was sworn in as a ruler under the protection of Sher Khan. Sher Khan led the invasion in Bengal and successfully defeated the opposition and hence he was given the title Hazrat-e-ala.
