Choose the correct answer using the codes given below: Answer:
Only 3
Notes:
River Lukha is one of Meghalaya’s major rivers. The river has been rendered dead by unchecked mining activity and effluents released by cement factories.
The Bhogdoi River is a tributary of the Brahmaputra in India. From its origin in the Naga hills it flows through the city of Jorhat and then it merges with another river and its name becomes Gelabill. The previous name of the river was Desoi.
The Bedti-Varada project was envisaged in 1992 to supply drinking water. The project aims to link the Bedti, a river flowing west into the Arabian Sea, with the Varada, a tributary of the Tungabhadra River, which flows into the Krishna which in turn flows into the Bay of Bengal.
