Notes: Mihir Bhoja who ruled from 836 C.E. to 885 C.E. had his capital at Kannauj. It was also called Mahodaya. In one of the earliest inscriptions of Mihir Bhoja, the Barah copper plate inscription, there is mention of a military camp at Mahodaya.
