Khwaja Hussain Nagauri
Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti died in 1235 CE and was buried where he lived. In the 15th century, Khwaja Hussain Nagauri built a mausoleum over his grave, creating the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a major pilgrimage site. The mausoleum showcases Mughal architecture. Emperor Akbar visited it 14 times and donated a large cauldron for cooking food for pilgrims.
