Notes: Mughal emperor Humayun built Dinpanah in Delhi, along with the Jamali Kamali Mosque and Isa Khan Mosque. His sister, Gulbadan Begum, wrote the Humayun-nama. Humayun had a keen interest in astrology and maintained a large manuscript library. Dinpanah aimed to revive Delhi's grandeur but was later absorbed into Sher Shah Suri's Shergarh after Humayun's defeat.
